The Future Talent Alliance is designed to bring together forward-thinking businesses and UK secondary schools. Participation is open to businesses and schools from across the UK who are committed to closing the gender gap and investing in future talent.

All sectors are welcome. The event presents a valuable platform for organisations that have/are already addressing the widespread challenges around gender parity to showcase their progress and leadership in equity, diversity and inclusion. It will also be particularly valuable to those in sectors where gender disparities remain most pronounced, including construction, finance, insurance, technology and education where gender pay gap reporting illustrates the biggest challenges.

Participation for organisations/businesses is offered at three levels: partner, sponsor or advocate, for different price points and levels of engagement. You can see the full details for each on the website.

There is no cost to schools and the resource pack will be provided free of charge with an annual licence and calendar for booking events for students in our Future Talent Fortnight in November. This includes opportunities for workplace visits and talks from business mentors, plus webinars and other downloadable reources that can be used throughout the year.

The resource pack, See it, be it, believe it, will be designed for Year 8 pupils, aged 12 to 13. This is to align with research that shows early awareness of pathways, opportunities and role models is essential when it comes to improving gender parity. This also enables the potential to shape young minds before they start narrowing their career pathways when they prepare for GCSE choices the following year.

In November 2025 we will launch the first Future Talent Fortnight, when schools will have the opportunity to arrange workplace visits (real or virtual) with participating businesses, have a mentor at one of the businesses deliver a talk to their students, join an online quiz event and more! Details will be revealed with the See it, be it, believe it resource pack in September.
